Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter to all!  He is risen!  We had a wonderful Easter, celebrating our risen Lord with our family.  Mimi and Paw Paw Niemeyer came to visit for the weekend and enjoyed the Good Friday church service with us and stayed until Sunday afternoon.  Caleb had been feeling kind of crummy all weekend and was fighting a cough.  On Sunday morning we knew he was really sick when he sat on Aliceson's lap for the entire church service and even fell asleep during the sermon (sorry, Pastor).  He wasn't even interested in looking up at the balcony of the church to see Daddy singing in the choir.  Even though he was sick, he was in a pretty good mood for visits from Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa Frank, Uncle Grady, and Uncle Sigmund.  After Easter services we enjoyed a yummy dinner of homemade lasagna, spinach and strawberry salad, corn, garlic bread, apple pie, and chocolate pie!  When we were stuffed from lunch we let Caleb open his Easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy and Mimi and Paw Paw.  No candy this year but lots of fun Elmo items like a new plate, new cup, toothbrush, eggs, socks, and even a book with his face next to Elmo's and other Sesame Street characters.  Mimi and PawPaw had him an awesome bubble machine, a Mickey Mouse sippy cup and lots of fun eggs in the shapes of Elmo, ladybugs, and footballs in an Elmo shaped basket!  He was so excited!  Here are some pics from our fun weekend:
