Woodlands Children's Museum

Caleb, Ava, and I ventured out to meet some friends last Friday at The Woodlands Children's Museum.  What a fun time we had!  (In case you may not know, I am caring for a little girl, Ava, during the day.  She is almost 5 months old and is here with us Monday-Friday while her mommy and daddy are at work.)  Caleb had so much fun exploring everything there was for him to play with.  Mommy had fun chasing Caleb around.  Lately he has figured out to run in the other direction when we are calling him our way.  And, he also does, what I like to call, "jelly legs" when we do catch up to him (collapsing on the floor so we have to get down and physically pick him up).  What a stinker!  He does not stay in one spot for more than 5 seconds and even found his way behind the counter and into the museum director's office while I put him down to take out my wallet to pay!  Good thing he's so stinkin' cute or Mommy might have a harder time being patient with him!  :)

At the museum Caleb's favorite thing to do was play in the playhouse and pretend kitchen!  He loved playing with the pretend food, dishes, stove, and sink.  He also really liked the fire truck and the digging pit that had tons of dump trucks and shovels to play with.  We will definitely be making more trips to the museum to play in the future!

Exploring the fire truck!

Caleb LOVES to splash in water!

Cooking dinner for his future wife, Brooke!  :)  Hope she likes peanut butter and ketchup!

. . . and washing the dishes too!  That's my boy!!
