We celebrated Caleb's birthday with friends on June 14, 2014. Caleb requested a Phineas & Ferb themed party and since Mommy happened to come across TONS of P&F party items on clearance, it was a no-brainer! In the past, Aliceson has spent countless hours making homemade decorations but with nearly everything on clearance this year, almost all of the decorations and favors were bought. It was great! Caleb loved it, Mommy loved it, and we had a great time! Caleb chose 7 friends to invite to his party (Annelise, Avery, Ian, Caleb B., M.J., Jack, and Carson). We started off the party with a dance contest, P&F style, rock-n-roll and with guitars! Awards were handed out to everyone at the end of the contest. We then had a "pin the tail on Perry" game where I later found out the blindfolds weren't quite doing their job! Oh well! haha We also had a pinata (Caleb's request) that Mommy and Daddy found at the 99 Cent store of all places!! It was perfect and even had a #5 on the side and was a race car!!
Since Caleb's favorite fruit right now is cherries, he requested a cherry chocolate cake (made by Mommy) and Blue Bell Cherry Vanilla ice cream for his party. After a little singing, eating, and gift opening (during which Caleb read each and every card out loud by himself!), all of his friends said good-bye. What a great day to celebrate our oldest son!
