He is risen! He is risen, indeed!

Happy Easter!  We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our risen Lord.  We went to the Good Friday service that morning and then dyed eggs in the afternoon.  On Saturday morning we enjoyed a fun egg hunt with a couple thousand of our closest friends in the community at our church.  Sunday morning brought a yummy breakfast with our church family followed by an amazing service with full orchestra and solo by church member Lyle Lovett.  After church we came back home, did an Easter egg hunt in the back yard with the boys, and then packed up and headed to Brenham.  We enjoyed lunch with Nana and Papa Lueckemeyer and celebrated our niece Mallory's 9th birthday.  On Monday we spent some time with Mimi and PawPaw Niemeyer and Great-Grandma.  It was a busy weekend but a GREAT one spent worshiping our Lord, remember all that He did for us, and spending time with family.

Easter baskets filled with goodies!

Excited about a new "Bad Piggies" coloring book.

Elmo crackers (and a rake for digging - Samuel's favorite!)

His first Peep!  These were actually lemonade flavored ones that a portion of the money from the purchase goes to support childhood cancer.  Near and dear to our hearts because of a little fighter, Jake.  www.jacobhickford.com

Confetti eggs!!!

Papa was so creative!  He made individualized maps of the yard for each of the grandkids to show them where their specific, color-coded eggs were hiding.  What a fun game!  The eggs were filled with candy, monopoly money (which Nana traded for real money), and coupons for things like frozen yogurt tubes and popsicles!

Our handsome nephew, Noah.  He's growing up so fast!

Cousins!

Happy birthday to our beautiful niece!

Cuddle time with Mommy before bed.
