Life's Greatest Blessings: Guess who's THREE!

CALEB!! Happy birthday, little man! Mommy and Daddy love you sooo much! At 3, you are very opinionated, independent, funny, smart, quick-witted, and loving. You love giving Mommy and Daddy hugs and kisses and telling Mommy that she's your "most favorite girl in the whole world universe". You love trying everything out yourself, whether you can actually perform the task or not. You smile and laugh a lot and make others around you smile too. Sometimes you are very mischievous and tend to get into trouble, although you're usually just exploring and the trouble happens when you go a little too far! We still struggle to get you to fall asleep at night and have given up naps completely in an attempt to help you fall asleep right away rather than taking 2+ hours to wind down. So far it seems to be helping and you don't get very cranky in the evenings either! Mommy misses her quiet time while you napped but we have started an afternoon "quiet time" where you play in your room for a little while to give Mommy a break! :) You still love to eat about everything in sight and aren't afraid to try new foods. We love that you are not shy, talk to everyone, and are almost always in a good mood. We love you so much and can't believe it's already been three years that you've been in our lives!

Here are some pics from Caleb's party. We had the party at our neighborhood clubhouse and playground. About 30 friends and family came to celebrate with us. We had an awesome BBQ Brisket sandwich lunch cooked by Paw Paw Niemeyer and chips and dips made by Nana Lueckemeyer. Mommy made your Cars cookie cake and Uncle Jerry and Uncle Larry brought the Blue Bell along straight from the ice cream factory! Thank you to everyone that came, ate, and celebrated with us!
