What a fun time of year! On Sunday night we went to a "trunk-or-treat" event at a local church with some friends, Matt, Kim, and Ian. Ian and Caleb had so much fun playing all of their fun games. Caleb also tried popcorn here for the first time and decided he wasn't a fan - just like Mommy!
This year was our first year to take Caleb out "trick-or-treating" around the neighborhood. He did fantastic! He caught on real quick and went from house to house, ringing the door bell, waiting for someone to come and then politely saying, "Trick-or Treat! Thank you! Happy Halloween"! He was such a big boy and had so much fun. After we'd leave one house he'd point to the next one and say, "Let's go to that house next!" Caleb dressed as a piece of pizza this year and Mommy really loved making his costume. We got tons of compliments on it and I think he really enjoyed all the attention. After doing some trick-or-treating of our own, we came back to our house, sat on the porch, and passed out our entire bowl of candy in no time to other kids. He had a blast and LOVED having a few "treats" (candies), M&Ms being his favorite. We learned really quickly that the excitement from the night combined with all the sugar he ate (when he normally doesn't eat sweets) makes for one overly ecstatic boy that did not want to go to bed! Here are a few pictures from the night:

Went to visit our friends Mr. Chris and Mrs. Lauren! Thanks for the M&Ms. They're his favorite! |

After a snack size bag of M&Ms and a bite of Twix . . . running circles around the front yard, pulling up the grass, throwing it everywhere and then crashing to the ground to roll around. Sugar high!!
