A while back our small group from church decided we wanted to try a camping trip! We had plans to go to a lake and camp out but decided instead to go to the Lueckemeyer land out in William Penn, just outside of Brenham instead. We got there on Friday night, got our tents set up, put the boys to sleep, and then the adults spent a few hours sitting around the campfire talking, making s'mores, and trying out Martha's favorite camping pizza recipe! Yum! After a chilly night, we woke up Saturday morning, cooked and ate breakfast tacos, and then decided to take a hike around the property. Our strollers proved to be not so all-terrain as we thought! The boys were great sports though and just hung on for the ride. We spent the afternoon playing washers, blowing bubbles, and just enjoying each others' company! We're hoping that once the weather gets cooler and Fall is here that we can do it again!
