Our precious Samuel is now one month old! Sometimes I can't believe it's already been a whole month and other times it seems like he's just always been here, part of our family. We love our newest little guy so much! He has the cutest little chubby cheeks, softest hair, and bright eyes. For now Samuel is nursing every 2 hours (or less) during the day and every 3-4 hours at night. His favorite place to nap is on Mommy's chest or facing downward on Daddy's arm ("colic hold"). He is much more fussy (and MUCH louder) than Caleb ever was at this age but that just makes us appreciate the quiet moments even more. He is 10 lbs. 1 oz. and does not care for the paci much, although Mommy and Daddy keep trying. He seems to be a little congested at night laying flat so for now he sleeps swaddled (finally seems to have taken to that and relaxes now when we wrap him tightly) laying on the boppy pillow next to Mommy and Daddy.
Month 1 Favorites:
- eating
- sleeping (as long as someone is holding him)
- being warm
- looking for light
- big brother's kisses
- having his hands by his face
- crying
- riding in the Moby wrap with Mommy
Month 1 Dislikes:
- the carseat
- riding in the car
- having his diaper changed
- being cold
- bathtime
- changing clothes
- being put down

He sounds a lot like Sandy! She had to be held in the colic hold for the longest time, cried way louder than Brazos, and hated the car seat. Your pictures are wonderful!
