Happy half-birthday!

So when people always say, "they grow so fast", it's hard to REALLY understand that until you're a parent.  I can hardly believe it's been six whole months since this little guy made us a family of three.  So much has changed in our lives but now that he's here, we honestly wouldn't have it any other way.  I know that's very cliche to say but it's true.  Caleb is constantly making us smile!  (Well, okay maybe not at 2 in the morning when he's crying -- but for sure at any other time.)  God is so good and we are so thankful to Him for this child that is on loan to us!  For his half birthday, Caleb got a new sippy cup that the directions specify is for a baby 6+ months old! He also unfortunately got a shot at the doctor's office. As I've said before, he usually cries for a very long time and is hard to get calmed down but this time he literally only let out a little scream and then was fine. It was great! He weighed in at 18 pounds, 6 ounces and is now 27.75" long. That puts him at the 70th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. The doctor says that he's doing great and is very strong. Here are a few pictures of Caleb today, at six months old!  We love you, our little "Lumpy"!!
