Christmas 2009

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  We had so much fun celebrating our Lord's birth with family and friends.  We started out celebrating with the Nana and Papa Lueckemeyer, Uncle Jerry, Uncle Chad, Aunt Kelee, and cousins Mallory and Luke on Christmas Eve.  They came to The Woodlands and we enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch together.  After lunch, Nana and Papa joined us at church for the beautiful Christmas Eve services with a full 44 piece orchestra, choir, and "Stille Nacht" (Silent Night) solo by Lyle Lovett.

Cousins

I can just see these boys running around playing together next year!

Caleb LOVES tearing and crinkling paper so unwrapping gifts was exciting.

Aunt Kelee and Uncle Chad gave me this adorable hat to keep my bald head warm.

On Christmas morning, Kyle, Caleb, and I woke up and read the Christmas story from the Bible.  After that, we prepared a yummy breakfast together then opened our stockings and gifts we bought for each other.  It was so neat to experience our first Christmas together as a family.

Mommy and Caleb after just waking up.

Caleb got banana puffs in his stocking!

Daddy got some "I am so smrt" Homer PJ pants.

This is Caleb's Christmas gift from Mommy and Daddy.  It's a Fisher Price "Little People" nativity set.  How cute is that?!

The family of three on Christmas morning in front of our tree.

On Christmas Day, after spending some time at home with just us, we drove to Brenham to enjoy some time with Aliceson's family.  Grandma, Frank, Uncle Sigmund, Uncle Grady, Johnnie, Linda, and Mikey all came over to celebrate.  We had a delicious mexican lunch with chicken and beef enchiladas, tamales, and all the yummy sides, scratched lottery tickets from our stockings, and opened gifts that we had brought for each other.

Caleb loves his great-grandma!

Loving the new moose outfit from MiMi and PawPaw Niemeyer.
